D'Tigers had some good moments early in the game courtesy of Benjamin Uzoh who drove through the lane slam dunk over DeAndre Jordan.

At that point in the game, Nigeria was just losing by a point much to the surprise of the sell-out crowd.

After his heavy defeat, Nigeria will face face Croatia on Thursday, August 4 before before games against Spain, Brazil and Lithuania.

This is only the second time they would be playing the Olympic Games. Their first participation was in the 2012 games in London.
