Barcelona ease past Panathinaikos 77-52, CSKA Moscow stay perfect in Euroleague
Barcelona thrashed fellow Euroleague giants Panathinaikos 77-52 on Thursday.
Justin Doellman (13 points) led an even scoring contribution for Barca, who had four players in double figures for points at the Palau Blaugrana.
Alex Abrines (11 points), Stratos Perperoglou (11) and Ante Tomic (11) were also strong contributors.
Barcelona led 42-28 at half-time and a 22-9 fourth quarter saw them to a convincing win.
With the win, Barca improved to 2-1 in Group C " while Panathinaikos slipped to 1-2.
CSKA Moscow continued their unbeaten start to the season with an 83-77 victory over Brose Baskets.
Nando de Colo was the star with 22 points for CSKA, who sit atop Group D.
Elsewhere, Zalgiris claimed a thrilling 68-66 win over Pinar Karsiyaka after Justin Carter missed a three-point shot on the buzzer.
