Bony leaves Swansea City on a four year deal that will keep him at the Etihad until 2019. He was EPL highest goal scorer in 2014
26 year-old Bony sealed a 4 year-100k-per-week deal to Manchester City.
The deal was finally agreed and personal terms reached after about a week long discussion.
The 26 year-old who is expected to join the Elephants of Cote D’Ivoire for the 2015 African Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea set the record for Africa’s most expensive player with the Etihad move; beating Emmanuel Adebayor’s 2009 transfer record of £25m to Tottenham from Arsenal.
"It's a great feeling for me, it's a big honour to be here and it's a great challenge.
"As a player it's always good to be part of one of the biggest clubs in the world and it's a good opportunity for me to be in that situation now - I'm really proud.
"I think it's a great decision for me - Manchester City are in the Champions League. It's a motivation for me to give my maximum to be in that place,’’ Bony, the highest goal scorer of the 2014 EPL season said.
He will be wearing the number 14 jersey and the deal will keep him at the Etihad until 2019.
