Leicester manager Ranieri refuses to confirm or deny the reports about Ndidi in a press conference.
The Premier League defending champions have reportedly agreed on a deal with Belgian club Genk for the £15m transfer of the midfielder in January.
Leicester manager Ranieri, however, refused to confirm or deny the reports in his press conference ahead of the Foxes’ trip to Sunderland on Saturday, December 3.
"I can tell you it's only speculation, I don't speak about players that go in and go out. We are looking everyday for all positions – not only one,” the Italian manager said when asked about the deal.
He also confirmed that Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa is fit for the Premier League trip to the Stadium of Light.
"Everybody is available but Kasper Schmeichel. They trained well, it’s an important game and we are ready,” he added.
Leicester City are 14th in the Premier League table having lost six games in 13.
