Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is learning how to speak Pidgin English so he can communicate well with his Nigerian teammates Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho.

Pidgin English is a simplified form of the English Language spoken in Nigeria and other African countries where Musa, Ndidi and Iheanacho come from.

Vardy is trying to learn the language so he can communicate easily with his Nigerian teammates.

The England international also praised the Nigerians, calling them ‘great players’.

They are great players. And as the team is trying to improve, that is why they are brought to the club – to help us improve,” Vardy continues.
