Thomas Dennerby has selected the players to represent Nigeria at the WAFU Women's Cup
The Nigerian women’s senior team will compete in the regional tournament which is scheduled to hold in Côte d’Ivoire starting Wednesday, February 14.
The Swedish coach who took charge of the Falcons final stage training has decided to invite players from the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL).

The Super Falcons are housed in group B and will battle neighbours Benin Republic, Senegal and Togo
The Falcons are Eight time African Champions and will start their campaign at the tournament against Benin Republic, on Thursday, February 15 (4pm Nigerian time), before taking on Senegal on Saturday, February 17, and play their final group match against Togo on Monday, February 19.
The Super Falcons have arrived the city Abidjan for the WAFU Women’s Cup.
The team of 21 players and coaching crew led by Thomas Dennerby (Head Coach), Omobolanle Taiwo (Assistant Coach), Modupe Shabi (Team Administrator) and also Wemimo Mathew and Maureen Madu, (Team Doctor and Physiotherapist) will join the team on Wednesday.
