Fatai Amoo, a former Super Eagles Assistant Coach, has warned the Super Falcons against conceding an early goal in Saturday’s final match against hosts, Cameroon, at the ongoing Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON).

Amoo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Okitipupa, Ondo State also urged the Falcons to guide against defensive lapses.

He stated that the Falcons have displayed impressive skills and put up good fighting spirit in all their matches since the beginning of the championship.

“The Falcons have been displayed high skills and excellence since the beginning of this championship, i only wish they keep it up.

“They should guide against defensive lapses which might result to early goal because their Cameroonian counterpart will want to use this to depress them,” Amoo said.

He, however, said that the match would not be a easy ride, urging the Africa women champions to exhibit concentration and fighting spirit to emerge  victorious.

NAN reports that Falcons, the seventh winner of the championship defeated Bayana Bayana of South Africa 1-0 on Wednesday to move to the final of the championship.
