Super Eagles midfielder and 2013 Africa Cup of Nations hero for Nigeria, Sunday Mba has been unveiled by Turkish division two side, Malatyaspor.

The midfielder was reported to be joining Portguuese Boavista from his French club Bastia.

The deal despite Mba being pictured with the club jersey did not pull through which resulted in a shock move to Malatyaspor in Turkey second tier.

Malatyaspor just recently gain promotion at the end of last season to play in the TFF First League, the second division in Turkey.

Founded in 1966, they are based in Malatya in Eastern Anatolia and play at the 15,000 capacity Malatya Inonu Stadium. They are nicknamed Tigers of the East.
