Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino can leave for any club in the world that can activate his 82million buy-out clause but not Arsenal.

Football Leaks recently released a document which shows that Liverpool inserted a clause in the forward’s contract which prevents him from joining Arsenal.

The forward was signed by Liverpool in June 2015 from Bundesliga side, Hoffenheim for £29 million.

The anti-Arsenal clause came as a huge surprise to football enthusiast as Arsenal have never expressed interest in the player.

Arsenal’s  ill-fated attempt to sign Luis Suarez in 2013 is still playing in the mind of Liverpool who were not happy with an offer of £40million plus £1 from the Gunners.

Arsenal believed that the over £40million offer would trigger a buy-out clause of the now Barcelona striker.

Liverpool owner John W. Henry was so dismayed with that offer that he tweeted "What do you think they're smoking over there at the Emirates?"

The Brazilian has scored five Premier League goals in 13 appearances this season.
