Former IICC Shooting Stars player, Rafiu Salami is dead.

He reportedly died on Wednesday, October 14, at his residence in Oluyole estate, Ibadan, Oyo state capital, after a protracted battle with strange ailment.

Salami, 73, helped his Shooting Stars win Nigeria’s first continental championship.

Former Eagles coach and FIFA/CAF Technical Instructor, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde, described the late legend as a complete gentleman who is always committed to any delegated responsibilities.
