Pepe Reina took to Twitter to throw a shade at Brendan Rodgers after the manager was sacked by Liverpool
Former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has thrown a dig at Brendan Rodgers after the coach was sacked by the club on Sunday.
The goalkeeper who now plays Napoli fell out with Rodgers before he was loaned out of the club.
He wrote a letter to fight to the fans after his loan implying that it was a permanent move which also angered Rodgers.
Following the news of Rodger’s sack, Reina took to Twitter to write that he now hopes 'to see the old Liverpool come back'.
“I will always be a fan and all I want now is to see the old Liverpool come back for the players and the supporters who deserve the best. YNWA,” the Spanish goalkeeper said.
