Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi reacted to a racist remark used by a fan on him.

Onazi who plays for Lazio in Italy received a letter from a fan who used the term 'Negro Di merda' to describe him.

The midfielder on Saturday, March 28 shared a photo of the letter and expressed his displeasure at the racist term used to describe him.

“I respect the fans but not to the extent of calling me 'Negro Di merda' It's not acceptable,” the midfielder says.

The 23-year-old midfielder is currently with the Super Eagles as they prepare for the second leg of the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt.

He missed out on the first leg which Nigeria drew 1-1 due to suspension from the red card he received last year.
