The midfielder is being owed some outstanding wages which he reported to FIFA in October and the world football governing body gave the Italian club until Tuesday, November 29 to pay.

FIFA have now given Lazio extra 10 days to pay the midfielder.

The case was taken to FIFA by Onazi’s reps after Lazio refused to respond to emails, calls and fax.

Lazio asked for a 20-day extension to FIFA’s deadline with claims that they struggled to translate Onazi’s letter from Italian to English.
