Nigerian football have suffered another loss with the death of former Shooting Stars captain Ogbein Fawole.

Fawole who captained Shooting Stars in 1984 died at his Lagos home on Monday, November 7 according to reports.

The 58-year-old was said to have died after suffering a heart attack on Monday.

 

According to several reports, his remains have been deposited at a Lagos morgue as the family decides on his burial plans.

Survived by a wife and four children, Fawole captained IICC Shooting Stars in 1984 when they lost the final of the African Champions Cup now (CAF Champions League) against the Zamalek of Egypt in Lagos.

Fowola joins the list of Nigerian football personalities who died in 2016.
