Emenalo has served in several capacities in the Chelsea board since he joined the club in 2007.
Reports emerged over the weekend that the former defender is set to lose his role in the club to ex-Roma transfer guru, Walter Sabatini.
The 51-year-old, however, took to Twitter to deny the reports.
"Reports about me leaving Chelsea are false. The board is working very hard to get the club back to where we belong. In the Championship," Emenalo tweeted.
His responsibilities as Director of Football include heading the scouting and academy programs.
According to Daily Mail, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich retains faith in Emenalo despite Antonio Conte’s recommendation of Sabatini who was hugely successful in that role for Roma.
The report states that the defender is highly rated by the Abramovich for his experience of being in charge of Chelsea’s complex system of loans and recruitment across Europe.
