The striker who spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan has no place at Arsenal and is set to join Galatasary
Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has disclosed that he is in talks with Galatasary over a move to the Turkish Super Lig champions.
The out- favour Arsenal forward spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan after playing just 13 times for Arsene Wenger led side.
He under performed at Inter Milan with just one goal in 19 appearances.
Though he is back at Arsenal after the loan spell, the German World Cup winner is not wanted by Wenger and has kicked off discussion with a potential buyer, Galatasary.
The Turkish giants could offer Arsenal £1.5million offer the striker that was brought in from his home club, Koln in 2012.
"I would like to play for Galatasaray," he told the club's official TV station.
"They have great fans and I have had a huge response from them on social media."
"Yes there have been meetings with Galatasaray. I hope the transfer happens."
