Though the English Premier League is two weeks away, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has already kicked off his attack against his rivals.

Despite spending £86.5m last season on his way to winning the EPL, Mourinho has claimed that his rivals are 'buying' the title.

Mourinho slashed the cast last summer on Cesc Fabregas, Loic Remy, Filipe Luis and Diego Costa before Juan Cuadrado for another £26m in February.

This summer Mourinho has not made any big singing, buying Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic for £8m to replace Petr Cech, Monaco striker Falcao on loan, Atletico Paranaense midfielder Nathan for £4.5m and Partizan Belgrade youngster Danilo Pantic.

Mourinho however admitted that he bought the title during his first stint as Chelsea coach on their way to winning back to back Premier League titles in 2005 and 2006.

"In the beginning of Mr. Abramovich coming to Chelsea, Chelsea was buying the title," said Mourinho.

"Now, they are buying the title. All of them, they are buying the title.

"It is up to us to be strong and to fight them and, obviously, to try and win it again, even without the big investments."
