Frank Darlington Manager of football club arrested for molesting teenagers in Lagos

Darlington allegedly took the three victims to his house on separate occasions after training and sexually assaulted them.

Frank Darlington, the manager of Soccer Warriors Football Academy, Lagos-based football club, has been arrested for allegedly molesting three teenagers.

According to the report, Darlington took the three victims to his house on separate occasions after training and sexually assaulted them.

As at the time of this report, Darlington is being held at the Elere Police Division.

The football coach was said to have penetrated the victims’ anuses, an allegation he has confessed to.

It was in February 2015 that the rape started. I usually had sex with my boys just to play with them. It was romance,” the football coach told Punch.

 “We had fun together. The last one I did was in July 2016, knowing that it could get me into trouble.”

The alleged sodomiser was arrested when one of his victims reported to his mother.

I do not know what moved me to be sleeping with them. I have been coaching for about 12 years. My wife stays in the South-East. She left me in March 2016. The sex with the boys was not for any ritual. I only derived fun from it,” the alleged abuser said.

Soccer Warriors Football Academy is located in the Agege suburb of Lagos.

The Imo State born coach has two daughters with his ex-wife whom he divorced in March 2016.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni has revealed that the suspect would be charged to court at the end of the investigation.
