The Falconets of Nigeria on Monday, November 7 jetted out the country for Papua New Guinea for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

For the World Cup, Nigeria have been placed in Group B alongside Spain, Canada and Japan.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) via Twitter shared photos of the girls in Dubai while on transit on their way to Papua New Guinea.

Nigeria have been to all the editions of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, losing in two finals (2010 and 2014).

Peter Dedevbo’s girls will kick off their World Cup campaign against Japan on Sunday, November 13.

Canada are the next opponent three days later on November 16 before facing Spain on Sunday, November 20 in the closing round of the group stage.
