According to a report, some other senior members of the squad could be on their way out of the Super Eagles
Nigerians could be seeing more departure from the Super Eagles following the resignation of Emmanuel Emenike from the national team.
The Fenerbahce striker –on-loan at Al Ain of Dubai- took to his Instagram on Tuesday, October 21, 2015 to announce his resignation from the Super Eagles.
“After five great years, I am happy to announce that I have put a full stop to my national team career for the sake of national peace,” part of the striker’s statement read on Instagram.
According to a report by Sun, some other senior members of the squad could be on their way out of the Super Eagles.
Emenike’s departure from the national team could be connected to the clash between Vincent Enyeama and coach Sunday Oliseh which led to the resignation of the goalkeeper from the Super Eagles.
John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses and Godfrey Oboabona are reportedly set to quit the Super Eagles after Emenike.
The players are reportedly not impressed with Oliseh’s method of leadership.
