Eden Hazard Chelsea handed fitness boost as star returns to training

Hazard trained with the Chelsea first team on Thursday and is now in contention for their Saturday game.

Chelsea have been handed a huge fitness boost as Eden Hazard returned to training on Thursday, March 30 ahead of their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Hazard miss Chelsea’s win at Stoke City before the international break and also did not take part in Belgium’s games against Greece and Russia.

The 26-year-old forward trained with the Chelsea first team on Thursday and is now in contention for their Saturday clash with Palace.

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois who withdrew from Belgium squad that played Russia in a friendly game on Tuesday, March 28 is also back in training.

Courtois played in Belgium's World Cup qualifying draw with Greece but missed the friendly draw with Russia on because of a hip injury.

Back from their respective international duties, Chelsea players were in high spirit as they trained.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte did not miss out on the fun as he was pictured playing with his men in training.
