Nigerian born striker Chuba Akpom scored a hat-trick in Arsenal's 4-0 win over Singapore XI in a pre-season tournament game on Wednesday, July 15.
The youngster netted in the 29th, 75th and 78th minute to get Arsenal off to a flying start in their first game after the post-season break.
Jack Wilshere was the other goalscorer in the game.
Arsenal are playing in the Barclay Asia Trophy and will face Everton who beat Stoke City earlier on penalties in the final on Saturday, July 18.
In the Arsenal team also is another Nigerian youngster Alex Iwobi who was also impressive for the Gunners.
Iwobi is the nephew of Nigerian football great, Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha.
The former Bolton playmaker took to his Twitter account to expressed his excitement over the performance of the player.
"Feeling head over hills watching my nephew Alex Iwobi live with Arsenal against Singapore eleven in preseason..great stuff son," Okocha wrote on Twitter.
