Argentine forward Carlos Tevez has sealed a return to Boca Juniors after leaving the club in January 2005.

The former started his career with Boca Juniors and has returned after playing for Corinthians of Brazil, West Ham and Manchester United in England and Juventus.

He spent two seasons in  Juventus winning two Serie A and one Coppa Italia; Tevez scored 50 goals in just two seasons and 96 games.

Juventus took to their Twitter account to confirm the move.

The club paid tribute to the 31-year-old striker on their website, releasing a video compilation of the goals he scored at the club.

Boca Juniors have also announced plans for a news conference to unveil Tevez later on Monday, July 13.

Tevez is moving back to his boyhood club with a fee of €6.5 million euros, to be paid by Boca in a one-off payment on December 15, 2016.

Juventus will pay Boca €3.5 million for the loan of Guido Nahuel Vadala, with the option to make him a permanent Juventus player with a further installment of €9.4 million to be paid no later than April 20, 2017.

Furthermore, Juve have secured options on Rodrigo Bentancur Colman, Franco Sebastian Cristaldo and Adrian Andres Cubas for €1 million each, to be paid before December 31.

These transfers combined effectively mean that Juve will pay Boca €6.5 million for four players on loan and earn the same amount for Tevez.
