Joshua and his promoter are planning to visit Nigeria as they embark on a world tour very soon.
Joshua knocked out Klitschko in the 11th round to become the new WBA Heavyweight champion.
His fight and subsequent victory against Klitschko was closely monitored and celebrated in Nigeria.
In his ancestral town of Sagamu, a huge viewing party held on the night of the fight and a wild celebration followed when he won the bout.
According to the UK Telegraph on Monday, Joshua and his promoter are planning to visit Nigeria on a tour very soon.
The visit according to the report will be part of a world tour that includes trips to the Bird’s Nest Stadium in Bejing, New York’s Madison Square Garden and the Middle East.

The 27-year-old has always embraced his Nigerian roots, once claiming that the secrets to his success so far are Nigerian foods like pounded yam and egusi soup.
Joshua has become a source of pride for Sagamu indigenes who celebrated his win on Saturday.
A lawmaker has revealed that he has plans to move a motion in the Ogun State House of Assembly for a stadium and street in Sagamu to be renamed after Joshua.
