24 Soldiers Dead As Boko Haram Gun Obasanjo's son

Several reports say that Adebayo Obasanjo, was shot while Boko Haram attacked a platoon he was leading on September 8, 2014.

Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo’s son has reportedly been shot by Islamic sect Boko Haram in a strike in Mubi, Adamawa.

No official statement has been released on the matter, but several reports say that Adebayo Obasanjo, was shot while Boko Haram attacked a platoon he was leading on September 8, 2014.

It is also being reported that 24 soldiers were also killed in the platoon by Boko Haram in the same strike and supposedly took into their possession – a platoon armoured tank.

In related news, the Adamawa State University in Mubi has been shut down amidst fears of a possible attack.

The management of Adamawa State University Mubi, has announced indefinite closure of the institution due to the fear of possible attack from Boko Haram.
