The monarch declared Wednesday, July 6, 2016, as the Eid el-fitr, in a statement, signed by Professor Sambo Wali, the Chairman, Religious Affairs Committee, Sultanate Council.
Today, Muslims, all over the World, are celebrating the end the month-long fasting of Ramadan.

As such, followers of the religion have gathered to thank Allah for the strength to fast and enjoy their first daytime breakfast in a month.
