You could also bid farewell to both the relationship and the person for good, depends on you and which of the choices you decide to exercise.
If you choose to be friends with an ex, will it be a kind of friendship where you only say hi and exchange compliments when you see them or one where you actively seek them out as close friends do?
Will you remain tight with them to the point of inviting them to your wedding ceremony?

When we published a story here few weeks back and asked you to take a poll to decide what you would do in such instances, 48.7% of you say you will never invite exes to your wedding.
The remaining 51.3% however say they don’t mind extending invites to the people they once called lovers.
Guess you can say what’s good for the goose isn’t always good for the gander.
