8 proven ways to perfect your friend-zoning skills

We meet too many great people in our lifetime, and some of them are just better as friends than lovers.

Friendzoning- learning how to do it right

If he keeps giving you all the right signs, but you’re just not feeling him like that, the best option would be to let him go.

If, however, you do not want to let him go like that, but need him to realise that you see him as nothing but a friend, here are the things you need to do.

1. Be clear about where you stand, and try to occasionally ensure that he never forgets it.

You know, try the occasional use of the word 'friend', just in case he starts getting the notion that you changed your mind.

2. Cut out the mixed signals. Don't be doing stuff that might give him the impression that he might cross from the zone to your heart.

3. Cut out the hanging out. You do not need to be spending too much [intimate] time alone.

4. Talk with him about the man in your life. Always. So he never forgets.

5. Make him talk about the girls he likes, or the ones he's chasing. [And take note if he keeps saying he has none he's chasing or checking out. He could be hung up on you.]

6. If you’re dressing up really nice and looking all gorgeous all the time just to go over to his house, you’re doing it wrong.

7. Decline dates and outings that have romantic undertones. Candle-lit dinner for two at a quiet semi-exclusive restaurant? No, ma'am.

8. Stay away from any sex-related activity.

Once you cross over to the other side and have sex with him, it becomes a friends with benefits situation. And that is not what you want, is it?
