Every immigration application form that is submitted, is always reviewed by an immigration officer.

And, due to the fact that immigration officers have a massive amount of immigration application forms to go through on a daily basis, a simple mistake(s) or omissions might result in the delay, or denial, of your immigration application.

With this in mind, it is, therefore, important for you to make your application form as easy as possible for the immigration officer reading your application, to consider all the facts when reviewing your immigration application form and ensure that they do not have trouble understanding it.

Because, once there is a misunderstanding, denial becomes inevitable.

Here are five steps to improve your chances by filling out your immigration form properly

Step one

Ensure you fill out every single section of the immigration application forms. There should be no blank space.

However, in cases where something does not apply, it is expected of you to write "not applicable" in the space so that the immigration officer knows the immigration application form is fully completed and can review it accordingly.

Step two:

Carefully follow the instructions regarding which pieces of accompanying documentation are required for each type of immigration application form.

Because, there are some immigration application forms where applicants may be asked to include resumes; photocopies of their passport, academic transcripts or their birth certificate, among a number of other things.

It is very, very, important for you to read the instructions carefully and ensure that each document is included as necessary.

Step three

Create a cover letter for your immigration application form (much like you would for a resume) explaining to the immigration officer why this item is missing if something is lacking in your application or an item cannot be included.

Step four

Keep copies of all of the documents sent in with your immigration application form, including the immigration application form itself.

If you've sent your immigration paperwork through a courier, keep a copy of the courier slip. This way if anything goes wrong, you have proof that the immigration application form was sent.

Step five

Lastly, take your immigration application form to a license immigration lawyer to help look over your immigration application forms.

The purpose of this is to make sure everything is properly filled out and in order to avoid costly mistakes.

However, it will be very good, if it is possible to have an immigration personnel ( i.e if you have any relationship with one) fill your immigration application form.
