Political thugs murder Senior Police officer, orderly
The officers were reportedly monitoring the Rivers rerun election when they were attacked.

According to a statement issued by the commander of 6 Division of the Nigerian Army in Port Harcourt, Kasimu Abdulkarim, the attackers ambushed the DSP alongside his orderly and eight others.
The officers were on duty during the Rivers rerun election when they were attacked.

Mohammed's orderly was also killed while three officers escaped and five declared missing.
