Group claims INEC sent fake materials to units

Voters at Rotimi Amaechi's unit claimed that they discovered the missing form after the Minister had visited the unit.

 

Voters at unit 14 ward 8, Ubima community, Ikwerre Local Government Area were said to have lost their cool after they discovered that Form EC8A was missing.

This was said to have been discovered after the Minister has visited the unit.

The Presiding Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Siminore Oshinokho, reportedly said the form was misplaced.

It was learnt that the issue caused panic leading to the manhandling of a journalist and suspension of election in the unit.

Similarly, some political party supporters in Ahoada-West council area of the state also accused INEC of bias in the conduct of the polls.

They alleged that the election materials sent to polling units were fake and will not be allowed to be used for the exercise.
