An Appeal Court has just ruled that Eyitayo Jegede will be the PDP standard bearer for the Ondo governorship election and not Jimoh Ibrahim.

The Court ruling followed an order from the Supreme Court that the case be decided expeditiously given its urgency.

Justice Okon Abang of the federal High Court had declared Ibrahim the authentic candidate of the PDP ahead of the Ondo election, but this afternoon's ruling has put paid to Ibrahim's candidacy.
