APC candidate, Godwin Obaseki has won over an Edo born singer, Sammie Cross, who recently recorded a a song for the guber hopeful.

The PM Records signee who released the visuals the song entitled "Obaseki" on Tuesday, September 5, 2016 said he is one of the many people that is happy for Obaseki's candidacy.
Sammie said: "I made this special gift for G.O and the APC, its an expression of my support for good governance," he understands that less is usually more, the song reflects the culture and tradition of edo state in a way that makes it seem of vital importance."

Obaseki emerged the APC candidate after a keenly contested primaries that was widely monitored by political enthusiasts.
Recently, Philip Shuaibu, Obaseki's running mate said that the latter will make the state as prosperous as Dubai if he’s elected into office.
