President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly asked his Senior Special Assistant to the National Assembly Matters (Senate),Senator Ita Enang to appease the People's Democratic Party senators ahead of the screening of ministerial nominees, which begins next Tuesday.

It was gathered that the President is highly disturbed that the PDP senators may work against some of his ministerial nominees.

This is coming just after the All Progressives Congress spokesman and ministerial nominee, Alhaji Lai Mohammed urged Sokoto State Governor and former speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal to beg the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, for a soft landing at the screening exxercise.
