In Lagos Meet state’s 23 new Commissioners

Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has sworn-in 23 commissioners to constitute his cabinet.

The commissioners were inaugurated on Monday, October 19, 2015, in Alausa, Ikeja.

They are:

  1. Commissioner for Housing: Gbolahan Lawal

  2. Commissioner for Health: Dr. Jide Idris

  3. Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture Folarin Coker

  4. Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations: Seye Oladejo

  5. Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure: Engr. Ganiyu Johnson

  6. Commissioner for Agriculture: Mr. Oluwatoyin Suarau.

  7. Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives: Mr. Rotimi Ogunleye

  8. Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget: Mr. Akinyemi Ashade

  9. Commissioner for Environment: Dr. Babatunde Adejare

  10. Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources: Mr. Olawale Oluwo

  11. Commissioner for Establishment, Training and Pensions: Dr. Benson Akintola

  12. Commissioner for Finance: Dr. Mustapha Akinkunmi

  13. Commissioner for Home Affairs: Dr. Abdul-Hakeem Abdul-Lateef

  14. Commissioner for Information and Strategy: Mr. Steve Ayorinde
