The heat is on as results of the ongoing governorship election are gradually trickling in from various polling units.

According to Tribune, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun lost in his polling unit.

Meanwhile, the APC Governorship Candidate, Godwin ‎ Obaseki reportedly won in his ward located in Oredo LGA.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole has also said that he is impressed at the turnout of voters for the election.

He also frowned at reports that some thugs were firing gunshots in some areas of the state to disrupt the elections.

According to reports, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie-Ize-Iyamu is slugging it out head to head with Obaseki.
