Edo Election Disregard any result posted on social media –INEC says

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has called on Nigerians to disregard any result posted on social media.

According to the electoral body, some people had started putting up results from the Edo governorship election on the internet.

This is contained in a statement issued by INEC on its Twitter timeline today, Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

 

Meanwhile, there has also been reports of sporadic gunshots in some parts of Edo state by some thugs.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole also told newsmen that he is impressed at the turnout of voters for the election.
