This means that the legislative chamber will not screen any of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees, today, October 21, as initially scheduled.

The Senate screened only two nominees on Tuesday, 20, before adjourning to Wednesday (today).
The subsequent postponement was announced by the Acting Clerk of the Senate, Nelson Oyewo to journalists after Tuesday’s session.

The Senate has so far screened 20 out of President Buhari’s 36 nominees.
