Man pleads not guilty in Sandra Bullock stalking case

The man accused of breaking into Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock's Los Angeles home entered a not guilty plea to more than two dozen charges in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday. Joshua Corbett was charged with stalking, first-degree burglary, possession of a machine gun and possession of an assault weapon, among other things. He remained silent as his attorneys entered his plea.

Jackie Chan warns Singapore youth on drugs after son's detention

Jackie Chan was named Singapore's first celebrity anti-drug ambassador on Thursday and the kung fu movie star sought to warn the city state's youth off illegal substances as he spoke of his son's drug crimes. The Hong Kong actor's son, Jaycee Chan, was released from a Chinese jail in February after serving a six-month sentence on drugs charges.

Kristen Wiig on mental health, comedy and 'Ghostbusters'

As a prominent cast member of "Saturday Night Live" for a decade, Kristen Wiig played characters from political figures to pop stars, but in her latest film, the comedian taps into a more complex and serious side of life. In "Welcome to Me," opening in U.S. theaters and video-on-demand on Friday, Wiig plays Alice Kleig, a secluded woman with borderline personality disorder who wins the lottery and secures herself a televised talk show.

Tripping on muscle relaxants and peyote on the beach, two discarded wives portrayed by Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin work through their anger and heartbreak and then ask "now what?" How an uptight Grace (Fonda) and a bohemian Frankie (Tomlin) bounce back from the indignity of abandonment by their husbands at an advanced age is the comic fodder for the new Netflix Inc series "Grace and Frankie" that debuts Friday with 13 episodes available for streaming.

Americans prefer picking TV channels to buying bundles: Reuters/Ipsos

A vast majority of Americans would prefer to assemble their own pay TV channels rather than subscribe to packages that include dozens or hundreds of networks, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll found in a challenge to traditional television distribution. Seventy-seven percent of U.S. adults said they would like "a la carte pricing" which would allow consumers to pick their own channels. Only 23 percent said they would prefer bundles. Zac Brown Band beats Groban to take top spot on Billboard 200

Country group Zac Brown Band scored a third chart-topping album on the weekly U.S. Billboard 200 album chart on Wednesday, beating singer Josh Groban to the coveted top spot. "Jekyll + Hyde," the fourth album by the Atlanta-based band, sold 214,000 albums, 115,000 songs and was streamed online 3.9 million times, totaling 228,000 units according to figures from Nielsen SoundScan.

Spotify plans to enter Web video business: WSJ

Music streaming service Spotify is laying plans to enter the Web video business and has been in discussions with several digital media players about potential partnerships, the Wall Street Journal said, citing people familiar with the matter. The company has been reaching out to companies that specialize in making content for Google Inc's YouTube to discuss both acquiring their material and co-creating original video series, the Journal said.

Hot Chocolate lead singer Errol Brown has died at the age of 71 after suffering from liver cancer, his manager said on Wednesday. Hot Chocolate was known for hits such as "Emma," "Every 1's a Winner" and "You Sexy Thing."
