Red Cross says one dead on Thursday, in latest Burundi protests
BUJUMBURA, May 7 (Reuters) - One civilian was killed and nine others were injured on Thursday in Burundi's capital, the Red Cross said, in demonstrations against President Pierre Nkurunziza's bid for a third term which protesters say violates the constitution.
"The report we got this morning was that, so far, we have got nine people wounded and one person killed," Burundi Red Cross spokesman Alexis Manirakiza told Reuters. He described them as civilians.
