A 23-year-old American and design undergraduate, who was in Paris for semester studying at the Strate College of Design, have been confirmed dead in a release by the California State University, Long Beach.

According to a report on People.com, the American, who was identified as Nohemi Gonzalez, was on a study abroad program in Paris before she met her untimely death on Friday, November 13, 2015 in a multiple terrorist attacks on Paris.

A junior at the California State University, Nohemi was described as a "kind, thoughtful, generous and talented student, dear to all who knew her," by her design lecturer, Michael LaForte.

While details of Gonzalez's death were said not to be immediately available, her lecturer informed further that three other university students were with her in Paris, but are safe, according to the Times

The Friday attacks struck six different locations across the French capital – a concert hall, a restaurant and others – leaving at least 129 dead and 352 wounded, including 99 critically, French officials said Saturday.
