Donald Trump's wife accused of copying Michelle Obama's 2008 speech

Melania has been accused of plagiarizing Michelle Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2008.

After a side-by-side comparison of the two speeches, it would seem Melania 'borrowed' lines from parts of the US First Lady's 2008 speech.

CNN reports that The Donald Trump campaign signed off on the controversial Melania speech.

"I read once over it, that's all, because I wrote it ... with (as) little help as possible," Melania was quoted to have told NBC earlier on Monday.

Michelle Obama on August 25, 2008:
