Gaming expo will hold on November 9, 2016

This year's event, WAGE 16 is set to take place at Queens Park Event Center, Victoria Island on November 9, 2016.

West African Gaming Expo 2016 (WAGE 16), the first and only free technology conference and exhibition in West Africa focusing on animation, video, mobile games and related products is here, and this year's event packs a punch.

WAGE 16 is where gaming enthusiasts based in the region can see games created from all over the world, meet the developers, and learn from the experts on how to thrive and success in the technology industry.

This year's event, WAGE 16 is set to take place at Queens Park Event Center, Victoria Island on November 9, 2016.

The WAGE conference and exhibition is set to showcase speakers and exhibitors from United Kingdom, France, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda and much more.

Guests attending the WAGE 16 conference will have the opportunity to learn about, game development, managing and running a startup, generating funds from created content amongst others. Unity 3D will be educating attendees on how to use the world's largest game development engine and how to create Virtual Reality content.

For guests looking to start a game house / arcade business or organise games tournaments, Mlondi Mashinini of Fanbase Analytics South Africa will be educating attendees on how to raise sponsorship for their events. Mlondi has worked with organisations such as Kansas City Chiefs USA, and Real Madrid Football Club Spain.

Unity 3D will also be organising Africa's first Virtual Reality exhibition, showcasing VR content developed from around the world. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in Console, PC and Mobile E-sport tournaments, see games developed by African developers and go home with many cool gifts and prizes.

For fans of African animation, WAGE 16 will treat attendees to a free African Animation cinema and guests will have the opportunity to see animation created from all over Africa.
