As if the Internet gods are listening to the millennial cries of a growing digital population in Nigeria’s South West, a company has taken it upon itself to bestow an easy (of course digital) solution.
Ewa Agonyin Online is a website that lets you order one of Nigeria’s most culturally significant delicacies. The service is only available in some parts of Lagos Island (Lekki, Ikoyi, Marina, Victoria Island) right now but it may soon be available for other locations.
The site’s menu includes Ewa Agonyin and beef (N500), Ewa Agonyin and fish (N700), yam, bread, garri, extra sauce and plantain (all N100). Extra fish and meat go for N500 each.
Orders are only taken via a phone number on the website right now so be sure to check the website if you would like to have some Ewa Agonyin delivered to your home or office. We are yet to test the service but watch for a review when we do.
What do you think about this service? Would you try it? Would you like a website where you can order other delicacies (like boli and fish)? What kinds of delicacies would like to be able to order online? Let us know in the comments section below!
