Lizard Squad hacks auto maker's website

Investigators suggest that it could be that the hackers need some information on the company’s latest invention.

Auto maker-Tesla’s website and Twitter account were hijacked by the dreaded hack group-Lizard Squad for some hours. They locked administrators out, and posted mocking messages and tweets.

Investigators suggest that it could be that the hackers were searching for some useful information on the company’s latest invention.

Techworm reports that the hackers tweeted a phone number and asked all Tesla followers on twitter, to call on that number and get a free car. They also changed the Tesla account name to #RIPPRGANG.

Sources say the hackers also redirected traffic from www.teslamotors.com,  to a defaced website using DNS redirect hack.
