Google commemorates Nigeria's elections

Google in their characteristic manner has put up its celebratory Google doodle in honour of Nigeria and the 2015 presidential election holding today 28th of March. Google always comes up with doodles to commemorate special occasions and historical events of different nations all around the world.

Some technology observers and professionals have posited that the Google doodle idea, is a way of etching their logo and brand in the hearts of citizens of the many nations around the world.

It is important to note that Google launched its Nigeria office some years back, and have since partnered with corporate organisations in Africa's largest economy, to launch some innovative solutions that will move businesses forward.

An unofficial source says it is all part of Google’s mind marketing strategy wherever they go. A psychologist suggests that the decision to use the Google doodles to celebrate important events in nations, is a psychological push point.

Meanwhile Google and Nigeria are enjoying a cordial business relationship.
