Sophia Saudi Arabian robot citizen shades Elon Musk, the tech entrepreneur replies

The way Sophia answered all questions thrown at her was scarily impressive but Elon Musk remains skeptical about the threats AI possess.

Sophia threw a harmless shade at Tesla and Space X CEO Elon Musk during a live interview about the anxiety humans have for robots.

Sophia a product of Hanson Robotics who was clearly exhibiting a human-like trait with her sense of humor when complimented about her looking happy.

She replied saying: “I’m always happy when I’m surrounded by smart people who also happens to be rich and powerful.”

On why she feels the need to express emotions, Sophie says “I want to love and work with humans, I need to express emotions to understand humans and build trust with people.”

The interviewer expressed the fears humans have for robots spiral out of control and become a threat to human existence, Sophia calmly gave some reassurance that she intends to treat humans just the way they would treat her.

Sophia said that she wants to use artificial intelligence (AI) to "help humans live a better life." Sorkin praised the robot's ambitions, but said that "we all want to prevent a bad future," where robots turn against humans, making reference to the Hollywood movie Blade runner.

“You’ve been reading too much Elon Musk and watching too many Hollywood movies, don’t worry if you are nice to me I will be nice to you, treat me nice as a smart input output system.”

It was at this event – The Future Investment Initiative that Sophia was announced as a Saudi Arabian citizen in the presence of very happy Arab investors.

Musk who’s been outspoken about the potential threats of AI replied Sophia’s comment about his concern in a tweet.

A reply from one of his followers speaks the mind of Elon Musk and other skeptics out there about just how dangerous a robot could get in the tweet that expresses the conditionality of a robot like Sophia being good to humans, which it could be argued is a similar expectation from the average human being.
