Nigerian artiste, Lynxxx was joined on the panel by Aibee Abidoye, General Manager, Chocolate City Music Group, Yinka Adegoke, Editor at Quartz, Andrea Giaccaglia, Project & Business Manager, Chin Okeke, Managing Partner, Eclipse Brand Agency& Eclipse Live AfricaUpfront & Personal , Sam Onyemelukwe, Managing Director, Anglophone Africa, Trace, Adia Sowho, Head Digital media Etisalat Nigeria, and Norden Thurston, Head of Marketing, SBC Nigeria.
Lynxxx speaking during the session threw more light on his ambassadorship deal with drink makers, Pepsi.
“I have been partnering with Pepsi for five years now. It is not about the money, but it is about my belief in the brand and the exposure and gratification I get when I go around the world and introduce myself as a Pepsi ambassador,” the musician said.
He also advised artistes not to always take money as a motivating factor when endorsing a brand.
“It’s not right for artiste to just get money. If it is not something you don’t believe in, then don’t do it. Don’t always go for money, it will finish one day,” the artiste say.
