Finance minister, Kemi Adeosun, Zouera Youssofou, Dangote Foundation CEO to speak at bootcamp

The bootcamp aims to help professionals and entrepreneurs develop their career and business skills, join a community of leaders, and network with mentors and investors.

She Leads Africa, in partnership with GTBank, will take the She Hive, its innovative professional bootcamp, to Abuja from March 17-20. The bootcamp aims to help professionals and entrepreneurs develop their career and business skills, join a community of leaders, and network with mentors and investors.

Speakers confirmed for the event include:

Speaking about the #SheHiveAbuja event, She Leads Africa co-founder Afua Osei said, “We designed #SheHiveAbuja to give our community members, or #MotherlandMoguls as we call them, 360-degree support in their lives as professional women. They will be able to learn hard skills such as negotiating, marketing - especially social media marketing, creating a pitch deck, pitching to investors, rising up the corporate ladder, building a career in finance, business development, networking, goal setting. However, we also have sessions that cover lifestyle issues such as our Health & Wellness session, designed to teach attendees how to stay mentally and physically healthy as they develop their careers. We even have a professional Style and Beauty Night to cover fashion and makeup in the workplace. This session will be hosted by Adama Indimi in partnership with Fashpa, Jide of St.Ola and Skin 101, Abuja.”

According to a statement issued by the organizers, attendees of SheHiveAbuja will even enjoy discounted services from partner organizations including: Cervical screening and breast cancer kits courtesy of Medicaid Cancer Foundation, and Skin care treatments courtesy of Skin 101.

The #SheHiveAbuja event is part of the SheHive Tour which will take the bootcamp to several cities including London, New York, Nairobi and Johannesburg, in 2016. Previous editions have been held in Lagos and Accra.
