Korean tech giant launches Galaxy S7, S7 Edge at Mobile World Congress

The new devices have a new, more refined design, more advanced camera, and many other new touches.

After the long wait, Korean tech giant, Samsung has finally announced its new flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones.

Samsung revealed the devices at the ongoing Mobile World Congress currently going on in Barcelona, Spain.

The new devices have a new, more refined design, more advanced camera, and many other new touches.

If you have been waiting for the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, here are some of the specs of the newly launched smartphones: The S7 has a 5.1-inch screen, while the S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch screen; the screen on both devices are made 3D glass with all-metal bodies; They are both water resistant with an IP68 certification; they both sport the first dual pixel camera on a smartphone; support for up to 200GB of additional storage; Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box; 4GB of RAM; 32GB of internal memory; and one of either an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Exynos chipset.

According to DJ Koh, President, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung, the devices will be available from March 11. The devices is expected to compete with the likes of the Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
